Listen to young musicians ages 6 to 17 will showcase their talents. The FanFaire Foundation the first anniversay of the music program KIDS Playing For KIDS.
The concert will feature song selections from the new album which will be held at the Woman’s Club of Carlsbad on Friday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free.
The surfing community will gather together and celebrate the life of surf legend Donald Takayama. Takayama passed away last month.
A memorial service is open to the public and will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheater on Saturday, Nov. 10. After the service, surfers can paddle out to say their goodbyes.
If you love food and need holiday food inspiration, this event is for you. Cardiff Seaside Market will host their annual Taste of Seaside Market Holiday Open House on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 to 4 p.m.

In honor of Veterans Day, the Veterans Association of North County (VANC) invites the public to celebrate and recognize those who served and still serve in the military.
The Veterans Day Celebration will be held at VANC on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m.
Celebrate and honor those who served in the military on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. The annual Carlsbad Veterans Day Parade will be at Carlsbad High School.
The parade will include members from all five branches of the military, veterans from the World War II Montfort Point Marines, and more than 300 cadets from the academy passing in review.
