11th Annual Encinitas Rotary Wine & Food Festival

A Wine & Food Tasting Fundraiser!

The 11th annual event will be held once again at the beautiful San Diego Botanic Gardens, on Saturday June 7th. The event features over 20 food vendors, 16 wineries, 5 breweries plus other drink and dessert vendors as well as musical entertainment, Silent Auction and Raffle. Guests will have ample opportunity to stroll around the garden and enjoy the evening. The event is a "Green" event and 2 prize drawings are held for carbon footprint reduction through carpooling (4 to a car) attendees.

Our event is unique in that the majority of monies raised are returned to our 501 (c) (3) charities. These charities fall into two categories:Children's Charities and Community Charities. When purchasing tickets, the attendee designates which of the 21 charities is to receive the proceeds.

The Encinitas Rotary Wine Festival hosted over 1000 guests last year and distributed over $115,000 to our beneficiaries. Since its inception, the Festival has been able to distribute over $725,000 to local charities. The goal this year is to raise $120,000 with 1000 attendees.

Chairs of the event, Richard & Sandy Houk of RL Houk Construction, bring a strong knowledge of the participating charitable organizations, sponsors as well as the Encinitas Rotary Club as Richard has been a member for many years.

Tickets are priced at 3 levels- $90, $135 & $500. The beneficiary receives $60 of each $90 ticket and 100% of the other two categories. We also have wonderful sponsor ship opportunities. We appreciate your support and attendance.
