12th Annual Safe Trick or Treat

Encinitas 101 MainStreet will be
continuing its night
of Safe Trick or Treats in which South Coast Hwy 101 from Encinitas Blvd
to K Street will be transformed into Pumpkin
Lane
featuring fantastic, carved pumpkins at different viewing
locations throughout downtown Encinitas. Once again, Pumpkin Lane beckons
all pirates, princesses, witches, wizards, ghouls, gypsies, and mischief
makers young and old to safely Trick or Treat on Halloween night.

The Self-Realization Fellowship are donating
the pumpkins, as well as their time and pumpkin carving expertise to bring
Pumpkin Lane to life. These
intricately carved
pumpkins can be viewed at various locations.  All along South Coast Highway
101 local merchants will be handing out candy.  Children can
play Halloween games as well as dance to the Bucket
Ruckus from 5:30pm-7:30pm
 in the
Lumberyard courtyard courtesy
of the 101 Artist’s Colony. The night would not be complete without a visit
to the Queen’s Court, presented by the Self-Realization Fellowship at their
bookstore (1150 S Coast Hwy 101), where the Queen will grant the wishes of all
trick-or-treaters.
