100 Years!!!

“Let’s Meet 4-H” Event to be Held in Honor of California 4-H Centennial

In celebration of California 4-H’s centennial year, San Diego County

4-H would like to invite everyone to “Meet 4-H” October 6th from 9a-2pm

at “The Ranch”, 441 Saxony Rd. Encinitas, CA!

Even if you think

you already know about 4-H, there is so much more to learn about this

youth program that has served millions of youth between the ages of

5-19. The event will include information on all the county clubs,

projects and how you can get involved. It is open to the public, and

will there will be “make-and-take” crafts and animal displays as part of

the event.

Over 250,000 youth in the state of California take

part in community 4-H clubs that center around healthy living,

citizenship, science, engineering, and technology. With projects such as

Computer Technology, Environmental Stewardship, Animal Care, and

Nutrition among many others, there is a place for everyone in 4-H!
