Lagoon Platoon Community Habitat Restoration

Join the thrill of hands-on conservation in San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve

Lagoon Platoon is a community-spirited volunteer planting event for native habitat restoration. Activities typically include installation of native plants, and removal of non-native plants and trail debris.

Conservancy biologists lead participants on a mini-tour of the restoration site during the morning break. Locations vary monthly. RSVP is required (ages 13+). Directions and site information are emailed to registered participants.
