to jazz and rock from an early age. Their original compositions delight
audiences of all tastes with their simple melodic pleasures layered
over precise moving parts. In 2011 their most recent album ‘Feeling
Hands’ was voted jazz album of the year at the San Diego Music Awards.
The brothers recently completed masters degrees in music at UC Irvine
and just returned home from a successful tour of Japan. Come welcome
home San Diego’s finest and best dressed musical act.

Second Cousins- Formed in San Diego in 2012,
Second Cousins started as an acoustic trio of guitar, banjo, and
mandolin and quickly expanded into a full band, exploring various sonic
textures that reinforce the songwriting aesthetic that the band was born
from. Folk-inspired songs reinvented through the textures of our times;
Second Cousins brings closely relatable songwriting into a less
familiar realm. Second Cousins is Tim McStallion (horseback riding), Baustin Urns
(east-coast cremation), Dillon Casey & the Sunshine Band (Disco
Grooves), Capt. Kirk Portuguez (Space Travel).
