MiraCosta College Associated Students to Sponsor Car Show.

MiraCosta College
Automotive Technology Program will hold its fourth Annual Car and Motorcycle Show on Saturday, May 3, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. Proceeds from the event will
benefit the college’s military, veteran and EOPS students.



The event is free for spectators. Food and drinks will be available for
purchase. Local high school students will complete in a go cart build-off and
race. Car awards and a prize drawing will be held at 1 p.m. The Car and Motorcycle Show will be held in Parking Lot 1A, with free
spectator parking in lot 2A.



The fee to exhibit your
vehicle is $20, if registered on the day of the event. Preregister online by
April 29, and the fee is $15 (military and students, $10). The event is open to
any car or motorcycle and there are no year or make/model restrictions. Categories include hot rods, classics, tuners, trucks, customs,
choppers, unrestored original and work in progress. Entrants can register
online at foundation.miracosta.edu/events.html.
