Mothers Day Special

North County theater-lovers are in for a royal treat
with Encinitas Ballet’s enchanting production of Ballet Fantasy &
Fairytales.  Artistic Directors and Choreographers, Olga Tchekachova
and Sayat Asatryan have created a lavish production, replete with a
large cast, resplendent costuming and gorgeous sets.

Ballet Fantasy & Fairytales
will include excerpts from ballet Les Sylphides,
Fairy Doll and the Sleeping Beauty. Starring highly trained and
professional dancers and musician from Ukraine will be coming to
Encinitas to join Encinitas Ballet Academy local dancers.

The performance will
begin at 2 pm Saturday, May 10 at the David H. Thompson PAC at La Costa
Canyon HS, 1 Maverick Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009

Gold Medalist, Oksana Maslova partners with her on-stage and
real-life prince and silver medalist Anton
Kondaurov, will be dancing role of Aurora from the Sleeping Beauty
Ballet.  

Additionally in ballet performance
North County Audience will be trilled to listen nationally acclaimed
music innovator, Ukrainian Bandurist Valentin Lysenko, who shares the glorious
sounds of heavenly music across the county. This is his first appearance
in the United Sates.  The highly trained classically educated musician
brings back to life the 17-century BANDURA with expressive interpretation that
keeps the crowds coming back.  In his last performance on the show Ukraine
Got Talent, standing ovations were the rule rather than the exception.

Dancing side by side with these accomplished professionals
will be a cast of fifty young dancers and adult performers from Encinitas
Ballet Academy and community of supporters.

The rising local star Caitlin
Marsh will perform role of Princess Florine from the Blue Bird Pas-De-Deux,
Sleeping Beauty with silver medalist Anton
Kondaurov .

The Encinitas Ballet Academy is the

extensive history and reputation for creating talented, strong classical ballet
dancers.
