The Grauer School Open House

The Grauer School, a college preparatory school located in Encinitas, California, is accepting applications for grades 7-12 for the 2014-2015 academic year. Visit at this year's Open House on November 2nd between 11am and 2pm. Student-led tours will leave every 20 minutes. RSVP online here.

Focusing on a balance between academic rigor and an innovative Expeditionary Learning program, Grauer School students find success in the classroom, in their communities, and around the globe through humanitarian learning and a wide variety of courses. Currently The Grauer School offers 147 classes for 150 students, nearly all of them eligible for honors credit (recognized with the same weight as AP courses by the UC system), and has a relationship-based student-teacher population with just 6 students per teacher.

Fully 89% of graduating Grauer seniors in 2013 were offered admission to their first-choice college and received an average of $300,000 in merit scholarships. With three seasons of no-cut sports and countless student-led clubs for all interests, 95% of Grauer School students participate in extracurricular activities, and student surveys year after year show that close to 100% of our students feel connected to their teachers and peers and like school.

The Grauer School is accredited by both WASC and CAIS.
