Middle Eastern Dance to be Featured at Encintas Street Fair

A large collection of authentic and modern Middle Eastern Belly Dancers to grace the stage at this year's Street Festival!

Every year DEMA hosts a fine display of all things Encinitas along Coast Highway 101 with it’s bi-annual Street Fair. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy Encinitas and take advantage of free and affordable fun for the whole family.

This year our local Middle Eastern belly dance community brings a collection of authentic and modern pieces of this ancient art form to the community stage.  Saturday’s performance from noon to 1 p.m. are Dilley’s Dance Studio featuring Fusion and American Tribal Style, while Sahar Sami’s Academy of Egyptian Dance brings classical Egyptian Oriental Dance to the stage.

On Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. former Bellydance Superstar Jayna Manoushe graces the stage with Shalimar and Vasiliki and our well known local drummer Frank Lazarro and Cairo Beats
