Special Needs Students Celebrate 'A Night to Remember Prom'

On Friday, about 450 special needs students from around San Diego County attended "A Night to Remember" Prom at EastLake Church in Chula Vista.

Organizers explained that it was a night of integration, where each special needs student, or “Honored Guest” as they are called, is hosted by a high school student who will be their companion for the night.

The Honored Guests (15 to 22 years old) had a VIP experience with custom dress and suit fittings, hair and makeup, red carpet arrival, photography, dinner and dance.
