Hansen Surfboards 4th of July Parking Lot Sale

Continuing a tradition enjoyed by locals for years, Hansen Surfboards is transforming its parking lot at 1105 S. Coast Hwy 101 in Encinitas for its annual 4th of July Parking Lot Sale. Running through July 6, the sale features 30 to 50 percent discounts on adult and children’s swimwear and sportswear with discounts on selected wetsuits, backpacks, shoes and sandals.

“We have so much fun working this sale,” said Josh Hansen. “There’s always a customer who’s totally stoked on what they find here. When they realize we’re featuring the most popular surf brands on discount during this sale, they go crazy.”

Half the fun of shopping sales at Hansen Surfboards is wandering into the store and browsing the Boardroom, which carries hundreds of surfboards and surf accessories.

“No matter what level of surfer, our sales associates can help shoppers find the perfect surfboard and accessories to help them have the best surf experience,” added Hansen. “We love to surf and want everyone else to love it as much as we do. It starts by having the right gear.”

If looking good is more important, Hansen Surfboards has that covered too, with a sandal room featuring more than 6,000 pairs of sandals and shoes. The main store carries stylish clothing and a large variety of board shorts for men, and swimsuits for women and children, as well as home décor and gifts. Ladies’ sundresses and accessories are also available. The t-shirt wall features surf, local and Hansen Surfboards branded t-shirts to suit all tastes. Just south of the main store is the new Rip Curl by Hansen’s store, where shoppers can check out the company’s best-selling Rip Curl bikinis, board shorts, wetsuits and accessories.
