Facebook Offers Midnight Message Delivery on New Year’s Eve

Because kissing at the stroke of midnight is so last New Year’s Eve.

Do you plan ahead? Listen up then, because Facebook is offering a new feature for New Year’s Eve.

Instead of clogging up the phone lines with mass texts and calls, schedule your good wishes ahead of time.

Whether it’s from near or far, you can wish any of your Facebook friends a Happy New Year at midnight in a personal message. The social network is now offering a service that will deliver a private message to any of your friends that will appear in their inbox at midnight Jan. 1.

To get started, click here. You can even add a photo to the message.

It's sort of like sending a message into the future. That’s so 2013.

Will you take advantage of this new service? Or does this seem very impersonal? Tell us in the comments!

Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Hi Edward, I didn't hear any reports on the scanner or from sources of crashes, rescues or hardRead More landings.
