The Holiday Season Commences with the Annual Fall Festival

DEMA kicks off the season this month.

Editor's Note: The following is a news release from the Downtown Encinitas Mainstreet Association (DEMA).

The 22nd Annual Fall Festival, a readymade bazaar for holiday shoppers and weekend fun-seekers, returns to downtown Encinitas on Sunday, November 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fair-goers will enjoy a day where coastal breezes meet people gathering to shop, eat, be entertained enjoy the community’s historical district.

The festival will feature over 450 vendor booths showcasing various arts, crafts, gifts, food and more. Live music will be playing at three venues, Lumberyard Courtyard Stage, Pacific Station Stage and Community Stage, featuring the best in local entertainment including Semisi & FulaBula, The Red Fox Tails, and Creede Johnson. Lincoln Motors North America will have their new 2013 models available to test drive at J Street.

The Coast Highway 101 will be closed from D Street to J Street starting at 6 a.m. Parking will be available at Moonlight Beach, City Hall and North County Transit District Coaster Station lots (D Street, E Street and Vulcan Ave).
