Beach Tea House 101 Is Back and Boba-licious

Recently renovated, Beach Tea House 101 is now open. The Japanese tea store serves a variety of intresting slushies, teas, smoothies, and coffees.

For those days when you just can’t go to Starbucks again, try the unique beverages made at Beach Tea House 101.

The Japanese tea store offers iced slushies, creamy smoothies, Chinese hot tea, iced flavored tea, as well as more traditional coffee and snacks.

Beach Tea House 101 re-opened today after being closed a few weeks for a renovation.  It is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and is located on Highway 101 between West Glaucus Street and Diana Street.

The most popular items are smoothies and flavored tea with boba, according to Tiffany, a Beach Tea House 101 employee.

Boba is a sweet and chewy tapioca ball, which customers have the option of adding to their smoothie or tea.  Rainbow jelly and mango star jelly, similar in taste to small pieces of Jell-O, are other add-ins.

All of the drinks made at Beach Tea House 101 are made right on the spot after you order.  The shop is pretty small, but it usually isn’t very crowded, making it the perfect spot to meet up with a friend or two before going to the beach.
