Pet of the Week: Rocco the ‘Rock Star’

This week meet Rocco the ‘Rock Star’, a dog with a growing fan club.

Name:            Rocco, the ‘Rock Star’

Type of animal: Dog  

Age: 2 years

Weight:  74 pounds

Gender: Male, neutered

Breed:            Doberman Pinscher

If you're looking for a large, active pet that wants to really be part of your family, Rocco might be your new dog. The care providers at Rancho Coastal Humane Society say that Rocco has an "exuberant" personality and a heart of gold.  

This dog is not a doorstop or paperweight. He's going to need regular exercise. And don't let his intense gaze fool you. He's a big goofball and because of that, would probably do best in a home with older kids. Check out his video online at www.sdpets.org and then come meet him in person!   

Rocco’s $125 adoption fee includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, and microchip identification.
