The beauty showcased in this gallery is a good reminder of why Gateway Park is worth saving for the next generation of locals. If you love these wetlands and are willing to help, the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy needs you. The group is currently recruiting volunteers who want to become docent-naturalists. Once you go through the free training, you’ll be able to lead hikes through the nature trails for school children and other small groups.
