2 Unconcious Swimmers Pulled from Rip Current at Moonlight Beach

Encinitas Lifeguards pulled two unconscious swimmers from a rip current at the northern end of Moonlight Beach at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 29.

Both swimmers were transported by ambulance to Scripps Encinitas Hospital, according to the city. 

The swimmers were only identified as Hispanic males—at least one is a juvenile.
