Encinitas Fire Prepares for Fire Prevention Week Open House
The open house is Oct. 5 from 10a,-1pm, at Encinitas Fire Station 5 located at 540 Balour Drive.
The theme of this year’s National Fire Prevention Week is “prevent kitchen fires”, but the fire station open house will focus on a range of fire safety topics, including wildfires. The intent of the event is to educate the community about fire safety.
The event will consist of fire station tours, static displays of firefighting equipment and rigs, CPR demonstrations, photo opportunities with Sparky the Fire Safety Dog, face painting, and informational booths.
The event will take place 10/5, 10a,-1pm, at Encinitas Fire Station 5 located at 540 Balour Drive.
