Two southbound lanes of Interstate-5 in Encinitas are shut down following a car accident that caused one vehicle to flip.
The accident happened today just before 12:45 p.m. near the exit for Santa Fe Drive, according to California Highway Patrol media information officer Larry Landeros.
The two far left lanes are shut while responders are on scene. At the time of press, there was no information available regarding any fatalities or injuries, Landeros said.
Patch will keep you posted with updates as more information becomes available.
