Free Workshop Aims to Educate Encinitas Residents about Wildfires

The workshop is Tuesday, June 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center.

In light of the recent fires, the Encinitas Fire Department is hosting a free Wildfire Urban Interface Workshop on Tuesday, June 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Dr. 

Encinitas Interim Fire Marshal Anita Pupping will lead this educational workshop to teach residents how to protect their homes from wildfires, and help them be better prepared in the event that one does happen.

This free event will be in the banquet hall room #142b. No RSVP is required. For more information, you can contact fire prevention at 760-633-2820.
