Sheriff's Blotter: Convicted Sex Offender Arrested on Suspicion of Robbery

Unless otherwise noted, suspects were booked into the County Jail in Vista.

A 25-year-old man identified as Fletcher Everingham Calen was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery and receiving stolen property in the 1000 block of North El Camino Real at 9:30 p.m. based on complaints by two victims in their 50s. Purses and checks were reportedly recovered. Records show he remains jailed pending a scheduled Jan. 4 appearance on three felony allegations of drug possession, robbery, and receiving stolen property and two misdemeanors of drunken driving and failing to register as a convicted sex offender.

Mitchell Anderson, 48, was arrested on three felony allegations following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Requeza Street at 8:49 a.m. Dec. 31. The allegations include sales of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of concentrated cannabis and possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana,

A 27-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop southbound Interstate 5 at Encinitas Boulevard shortly before 11 a.m. Dec. 31. He was also detained on misdemeanor driving without a license and infractions of speeding and marijuana possession, according to a report.

Coby Mayer, 20, was arrested on a felony vandalism allegation in the 1100 block of Encinitas Boulevard shortly before 1 p.m. Dec. 29. He is accused of an estimated $500 damage to household goods owned by a 40-year-old woman.

Deputies arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of violating a court order at South Coast Highway 101 and West D Street  shortly before 3 p.m. Dec. 28 based on a complaint by a 35-year-old woman. Records show the man remains jailed on $75,000 bail pending a court appearance scheduled Jan 6. on five misdemeanor allegations that include battery and possession of a controlled substance.

A 60-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violating a court order in the 700 block of Bracero Road at 7:56 a.m. Dec. 28 following a complaint by a woman, 82.

Bradley Troy Brown, 18, was arrested on a felony allegation of making criminal threats toward a 20-year-old man in the 600 block of Cerro Street shortly after 7 p.m. Dec. 27. Records show he remains jailed on $75,000 bail pending a scheduled court appearance Jan. 9.

Deputies arrested two men and a minor after they called to investigate a report of suspicious persons in the 500 block of Saxony shortly after 10 p.m. Dec. 27. The suspects were arrested on a variety of misdemeanor allegations ranging from being under the influence of drugs to giving false ID to peace officers.

Deputies arrested Hannah Palmer, 19, on a felony drug possession allegation and misdemeanor being under the influence and possession of paraphernalia in the 1900 block of Lahoud Drive at 2:48 p.m. Dec. 24. A 26-year-old woman was arrested on misdemeanor allegations of being under the influence and paraphernalia possession.

A 29-year-old woman identified as Maritza Herrera was arrested on a felony allegation of child cruelty and misdemeanor drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 400 block of Encinitas Boulevard at 8:46 p.m. Dec. 24.

Deputies arrested a 23-year-old woman on a misdemeanor warrant in the 900 block of Regal Road at 10:50 a.m. Dec. 22.

A 42-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor allegations of drunken driving and hit-and-run with property damage following a complaint in the 400 block of North El Camino Real at 12:36 p.m. Dec. 22. The suspect was also arrested on suspicion of driving on a suspended license with a prior DUI and a probation violation.

Deputies on foot patrol arrested Mark Allen Davidson, 24, on an outstanding felony warrant in the 1900 block of San Elijo Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 21. Jail records show he in ineligible for release pending a scheduled Jan. 4 court appearance on felony allegations of reckless driving and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.

Two juveniles were referred to juvenile court for an alleged curfew violation at Hermes Avenue at east Jason Street at 11:20 p.m. Dec. 21 following a report of a suspicious person.

Deputies cited and released a 19-year-old woman on suspicion of being a driver with a measurable amount of alcohol in her system under the state's zero tolerance for drivers under 21. The stop was reported in the 1300 block of South Coast Highway 101 at 1:29 a.m. Dec. 18.
