Sheriff's Blotter: Man Arrested Twice, Allegedly Violated Court Order

Items of note from the Encinitas station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of Nov. 15, 2011.

Unless otherwise noted, suspects were booked into the County Jail in Vista.

  • A 35-year-old man identified as Kerry Kawika Urso, 35, was arrested on suspicion of violating a court order after deputies were called to the 100 block of Sunset Drive at 2:38 p.m. Nov. 14. Sheriff's records show he was also arrested after deputies were called to the 1700 block of Village Run North shortly after 9 a.m. Nov. 13 on the same allegation. Jail records show he is being held on $20,000 bail pending a scheduled court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 16.
  • Deputies arrested Judy Giles, 54, on suspicion of resisting arrest and drunken driving following a traffic stop at South Coast Highway 101 and West J Street at 1:44 a.m. Nov. 12.
  • Michael Stolar, 45, was arrested on suspicion of battery on El Camino Real at 10:43 p.m. Nov. 11 based on a complaint in the 100 block of South Rancho Santa Fe Road.
  • A 38-year-old man identified as Joesph (CQ) Pavela was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness and resisting arrest after deputies were called to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 600 block of Encinitas Boulevard at at 4:14 p.m. Nov. 10. 
  • Deputies arrested John Duckworth, 61, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after they were called to the 800 block of 4th Street at 1:31 p.m. Nov. 9. He was arrested without incident after allegedly assaulting a 71-year-old man, who reportedly sustained a severe laceration in the incident.
  • Ignacio Guerrero, 22, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant in the 1200 block of Orkney Lane at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 7.

  • 100 block of North El Camino Real at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 11.
  • 1100 block of Arden Drive shortly after 10 a.m. Nov. 10.
  • 1100 block of Hygeia Avenue, 11:50 a.m. Nov. 10.
  • 1400 block of Sanford Lane, 6:47 p.m. Nov. 10.
  • Wyatt Health Care, 400 Santa Fe Drive, 9:51 a.m. Nov. 8.
  • 1000 block of Calle Anacapa, 3:37 p.m. Nov. 7.
  • Detour Salon, 500 S. Coast Highway 101, 1:23 p.m. Nov. 7.  ($1,000 damage also reported)
  • 200 block of Cereus Street at 2:57 p.m. Nov. 7.
