Sheriff's Blotter: Suspected Burglar Arrested Following Traffic Stop

Items of note from the Encinitas station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of Oct. 18, 2011.

Unless otherwise noted, either all suspects were booked into County Jail in Vista or no  suspect information was reported. Information is  based on public records on file at the Encinitas station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

  • A traffic stop in the 2100 block of South Coast Highway 101 at 7:36 a.m. Oct. 14 resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old man on suspicion of possessing property stolen from  numerous victims, according to a report. The suspect, identified as Javier Rodriquez, was arrested on suspicion of felony vehicle burglary and receiving stolen property, in addition to an outstanding arrest warrant. A summary of his arrest named nine separate victims.
  • Deputies arrested an unnamed juvenile on misdemeanor battery after being called to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Village Park Way shortly after 10 p.m. Oct. 17. The matter is being referred to juvenile authorities, according to a report.
  • Kristin Brown, 44, was arrested on suspicion of abuse after deputies were called to the 1900 block of Park Dale Lane shortly before 9 p.m. Oct. 16. A victim in the case had a minor injury, according to the report. 
  • Two men in their 30s were arrested following a traffic stop at Santa Fe Drive at Regal Road shortly after noon on Oct. 15. A passenger, Michael James Pruett, 37, was arrested on suspicion of possessing hypodermics, possessing a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, in addition to an outstanding warrant. Christopher Koerner, 30, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana while driving. Jail records show Pruett faces a court appearance on a vehicle theft allegation on Oct. 25 and is being held without bail.
  • A 30-year-old woman identified as Tara Crawford was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Countrywood Lane at 10:48 p.m. Oct. 14.
  • Jacques Gillard, 79, was arrested on a battery allegation after deputies were called to the 100 block of Via Cantebria at 7:11 a.m. on Oct. 13.
  • Deputies arrested at 46-year-old woman identified as Olga Horta on three misdemeanors following a traffic stop in the 500 block of Cornish Drive shortly after 3 p.m. Oct. 12 She was booked on suspicion of resisting arrest, presenting false ID to a peace officer and driving on a suspended license.
  • Three people were arrested on drug allegations following a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Lone Jack Road at 9:28 a.m. Oct. 11. The three, identified as Christopher Barrier, 42, Anastasia Kirkeby, 48 and Jeremy Henry, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Barrier was arrested on an additional allegation of felony parole violation, according to the arrest summary.
  • Two men were arrested on drug allegations following a traffic stop at Blue Bonnet Place and Rambling Road shortly before 4 p.m. Oct. 10. Trevor Bell, 36, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, possession of concentrated cannabis and misdemeanor carrying a loaded firearm in a public place. Andrew Snyder, 31, was arrested on a felony allegation of possessing a controlled substance.

  • 400 block of Orpheus Avenue at 10:57 p.m. Oct. 17.s
  • 1000 block of North Vulcan Avenue at 11:36 a.m. Oct. 17.
  • Quail Gardens, Saxony Road at Quail Hollow Drive at 11:32 a.m. Oct. 11.
  • 700 block of Clark Avenue at 10:01 a.m. Oct. 10. 
  • 300 block of Neptune Avenue at 11:29 a.m. Oct. 10.

  • 100 block of Quail Gardens Drive at 9:16 a.m. Oct. 16. Damage to four-door vehicle estimated at $500.
  • Community Resource Center, 100 C Street at 9:45 a.m. Oct. 16. Miscellaneous damage estimated at $100.
  • 1200 block of Calle Christopher at 10:46 a.m. Oct. 12.
  • 1400 block of North Vulcan Avenue at 6:46 a.m. Oct. 10. Damage to a four-door sedan estimated at $200 and damage to a black pickup estimated at $100.
  • 400 block of Oceanview Avenue at 11:23 a.m. Oct. 11. Car window valued at $300 destroyed.
  • 1900 block of Country Grove Lane at 9:02 p.m. Oct. 10. Car window valued at $1,000 destroyed.
