Sheriff's Blotter: Trespass Complaint Leads to Felony Arrest

Items of note from the Encinitas station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of Oct. 4, 2011

Unless otherwise noted, either all suspects were booked into County Jail in Vista or no  suspect information was reported. Information is  based on public records on file at the Encinitas station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

A 19-year-old man identified as Ryan Ramirez, 19, was arrested on felony allegations of possessing dangerous weapons and vandalism in excess of $400 after deputies were called to investigate a trespassing report in the 600 block of South Vulcan Avenue at 11:28 a.m. on Sept. 30. The weapon was described as similar to a "club, blackjack, or brass knuckles," according to the report. He was also booked on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing, according to the report.

Deputies received a report of a "till tap" theft of $55 from CNG Incorporated, 100 Encinitas Boulevard, at 9:09 a.m. on Oct. 3.

A juvenile was detained after being found in possession of marijuana on school grounds at 800 Santa Fe Drive at 1:25 p.m. on Oct. 3. The juvenile was released at 2:19 p.m., according to a report.

An unnamed victim reported being the victim of a purse snatching in the 800 block of Santa Fe Drive at 3:40 p.m. on Oct. 3. The victim reported the loss of a cellular telephone valued at $150 and other miscellaneous items.

Savana Sandberg, 19, was arrested on suspicion of possessing false evidence of age and resisting arrest after being stopped shortly after 2 a.m. Oct. 2 in the 500 block of South Coast Highway 101.

Deputies arrested Ricardo Chavira, 18, on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after stopping him in the 1100 block of Evergreen Drive at 7:31 p.m. on Oct. 1.

Matthew Higgenbottom, 21, was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession in the 1000 block of Neptune Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. on Sept. 29.

Deputies arrested two people on drug allegations after they were stopped in the 700 block of 4th Street shortly after 8 a.m.. on Sept. 28. Kali Ball, 21, was arrested on felony drug possession and misdemeanor possession of unlawful paraphernalia allegations. Jonathan Anderson received misdemeanor citations on possessing hypodermics and unlawful paraphernalia.

A 31-year-old man identified as Christopher Dupont, 31, was arrested on misdemeanor drug possession after a traffic stop at 1:38 p.m. on Sept. 28 in the 1300 block of North Vulcan Avenue.

A 25-year-old woman reported being threatened by an unidentified person who was also accused of violating a court order in the 1400 block of Hermes Avenue at 4:41 p.m. on Sept. 27.

Vandalism:
