Suspected Pimp Arrested in North County

The suspected pimp was arrested Wednesday night in the North County on suspicion of assisting and supervising an individual for the purposes of prostitution, felony evading and assault with a deadly weapon.

A 44-year-old suspected pimp was in custody Thursday on suspicion of ramming a patrol car while trying to elude arrest in the North County, authorities said.

Timothy Jacobs was arrested Wednesday night in the North County on suspicion of assisting and supervising an individual for the purposes of prostitution, felony evading and assault with a deadly weapon, according to San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Joe Mata.

The incident occurred during a prostitution detail conducted by the North County Prostitution/Human Trafficking Task Force, the sergeant said in a statement.

After ramming the patrol car, Jacobs sped off and was pursued by several marked sheriff's patrol deputies, Mata said, noting the chase eventually ended in Jacobs' arrest. No one was hurt.

Also arrested during the detail was 18-year-old Brooke Tucker of Iowa, though it was unclear whether she was inside the vehicle with Jacobs or arrested separately. She was taken into custody on suspicion of solicitation for prostitution, Mata said.
