Woman Rescued From Burning Car on I-5

Nobody was injured in the early morning crash in Encinitas, but a driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

A woman involved in a crash on Interstate 5 in Encinitas early Sunday morning is crediting good Samaritans for saving her life, 10News.com reported.

The crash in the northbound lanes just before 4 a.m. started when a van and a car collided, overturning the car. A third car was unable to stop in time and crashed into the van and caught on fire. Bystanders were able to get the woman out of the burning car and she escaped injury.

The driver of car that collided with the van was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
