An 80-year old woman was severely burned Monday morning during a possible burglary at a house near Manchester Avenue and Sienna Canyon Drive, according to a report from the North County Times.
Just after 10 a.m. firefighters responded, and upon seeing the severity of her injures, called for a medical helicopter to transport her to a hospital.
Her injuries may be related to a home burglary, which deputies are investigating. Patch is attempting to get more information and will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
