City of Encinitas Launches Environmental Site

The website was developed by City staff from various departments.

The following announcement is from the City of Encinitas:

The City of Encinitas recently developed a City website, encinitasenvironment.org, which is designed to serve as a portal for all environmentally related content and resources. The goal of encinitasenvironment.org is to promote a healthy lifestyle, environmental stewardship, and raise general awareness.  This “one stop” website includes the topics of air quality, clean water, climate change, energy efficiency, green building, land use, transportation and mobility, trash and recycling, and water conservation.  Each page contains information, tools, tips, and resources, presented in an easily accessible and user friendly way.

The website was developed by City staff from various departments. New information will be added as it becomes available and new events and updates occur.  Upcoming events and newsworthy items will be placed on the home page in the “Key News and Events” section.
