The City of Encinitas recently conducted informational open houses in each of the five communities (April/May) to discuss housing needs; and held two Housing Element workshops (May 7 and 14).
During the workshop, community members were asked to identify where future growth should be located in the City. If you were unable to participate and/or attend, but still want to help the City plan for the future - the City is hosting a "make-up" session May 21/ The purpose is have additional opportunity for community members to complete all workshop exercises, including the mapping exercise and tools survey.
Mapping exercise "makeup" opportunity
- At City Hall from May 21 to 24, 8am to 5pm
- Check-in at the Planning Department
- Staff available to assist and answer questions
- Maps to be turned in same day of visit
- You can only participate once in the exercise/survey
