City Seeking Volunteers for Element Review Advisory Committee

Applications are due Jan. 9.

The city of Encinitas is in the midst of , which will guide land-use and policymaking for at least the next 20 years. In an effort to get more feedback on the General Plan's goals and policies, the city is establishing an Element Review Advisory Committee (ERAC) to review all draft General Plan elements. This committee is in addition to other methods of soliciting additional feedback on the draft General Plan Update.

City staff is now seeking volunteers from select groups, organizations, and community members to serve on the ERAC. There is a formal recruitment period for ERAC appointment, with applications due by Jan. 9.
