City Still Seeking Volunteers for Element Review Advisory Committee

The recruitment period has been extended for two weeks.

The city of Encinitas is in the midst of , which will guide land-use and policymaking in our community for at least the next 20 years.

The city is using several methods to gather feedback on the plan, and in an effort to increase that effort, it formed the Element Review Advisory Committee (ERAC). Volunteers who serve on the ERAC will  review all draft elements of General Plan Update.

The City Council recently made appointments to the ERAC, however, no applications were received for the ‘medical office property owner’ and ‘executive for large retail’ positions. Therefore, the City Council has extended recruitment for two weeks.
