City Urges Residents to Help Build Encinitas' Future

Another public workshop for the General Plan Update will take place on Monday, March 28, at the Community and Senior Center.

A citywide public workshop aimed at updating Encinitas’ General Plan—which sets forth the policies, goals and objectives to help guide land use and city decisions—will take place on Monday, March 28, at the Community and Senior Center at 6 p.m.

During the past several months, city staff efforts have focused primarily on implementing a comprehensive public engagement strategy, using the popular workshops to help build a framework for the next 20-plus years.

At the workshop, residents will have the ability to add input and help develop policies that will address the city’s current and future needs.
