Encinitas Developing Plastic Bag Ordinance

On Wednesday, the city of San Diego was directed to develop an ordinance to ban the use of plastic bags at grocery stores and other retail outlets.

If someone did not bring a reusable bag, he or she would be charged ten cents for a paper bag.

Solana Beach already has a ban on plastic bags.

Do you think it is time for Encinitas to ban plastic bags?  Tell us in comments.
