How Safe do you Feel Walking in Encinitas?

Let's Move, Encinitas has two more workshops to get public input in an effort to create a city-wide safe walking plan:

Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the Encinitas Community Center from 6-7:30 pm for New Encinitas; and Thursday, Nov. 5 at the Olivenhain Town Hall from 6-7:30 pm for Olivenhain.

Come and share your concerns and preferences for where the City should be focusing on safe pedestrian infrastructure in your community.

The City, in partnership with the local non-profit organization WalkSanDiego, has been awarded a Community-Based Transportation Planning (CBTP) grant through the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to create a city-wide pedestrian travel and safe routes to school plan.
