Gonzalez was asking for attorney's fees and consultation fees

Encinitas-based lawyer Marco Gonzalez received a settlement from the city of San Diego stemming for the Tijuana River Valley dredging, the San Diego Reader reported. Gonzalez had sued to stop the dredging project because the city was breaking its own permitting rules.

Gonzalez’s firm was asking for $95,350 in attorney’s fees and an additional $4,500 in consultant fees, but the judge did not award the full amount, according to the report.
