Navy SEAL's Mom Asks Romney to Stop Mentioning Son's Name

The mother of Glen Doherty said she didn't want her son's name to be a part of the Governor's campaign.

The mother of a Navy SEAL who was killed in Libya asked presidential candidate Mitt Romney to stop mentioning him on campaign stops, according to a Huffington Post article.

Romney apparently spoke about meeting Glen Doherty—an Encinitas resident—during a campaign stop on Tuesday. The mother responded by saying she doesn't want her "son's death part of his political agenda," according to the news site.
