State Leaders Reject Proposal to Move 'Surfing Madonna'

State leaders rejected a proposed bill that would allow the Surfing Madonna mosaic to be moved to Moonlight Beach, according to the North County Times.

The bill—which was rejected by an Assembly Committee—was introduced by Assemblyman Martin Garrick, R-Carlsbad.
