Encinitas Library's Storytelling Festival Set for April 20

The April 20 festival is free to the public.

Storytelling is a form of entertainment, art, and record keeping. The Encinitas Library, 540 Cornish Dr, is keeping the tradition alive by hosting their third annual Storytelling Festival on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Festival is free to the public and will feature stories for all ages.This year's Festival has a dozen events taking place throughout the day, with many being designed for all ages. Offerings include: preschool storytime; Earth Friendly Tales; Kids Tell Stories: Tales from Park Dale Elementary; America!; Stories and Ballads; Stories of Enchantment and Transformation; Friends and Liars; Voices at the Water's Edge.

"The annual Storytelling Festival is one of our most popular events," said Branch Manager Amy Geddes. "It's perfect for all ages, and has elements of culture, history, and the arts."
