IRS 2012 Tax Season is Here

The IRS website is a spigot of tax information. And it's easy to navigate, too.

For the tens of millions of us who have to file a 2011 (tax year) federal income tax return, the time is just about here to do so.

That said, please allow me a shameless plug for our website. If you have a question about anything, and I mean anything related to your federal tax, it's all there online for you at irs.gov. In fact, it's basically a spigot of easy to read and understand tax information, from getting a simple answer to an individual tax question to a question from an owner of an S-Corp with dozens of employees, IRS.gov provides. Really.

Here is a quick rundown, with links to some of what you can do or accomplish by visiting IRS.gov:
