Carlsbad is home to several amazing seafood restaurants, which one is your favorite?

What fish makes the best sandwiches? A peanut butter and jellyfish! I read that joke off a drink napkin at King's Fish House in Carlsbad. One of the many delicious seafood restaurants Carlsbad has to offer.

Jokes aside, we want to know where you go locally for the best seafood. Below are the choices. If you do not see your favorite place listed, tell us where it is in comments. Please vote only once in the poll and tell us why that place is the best in comments. Voting ends Friday May 18 and a winner will be announced that day.

I second that on the fish house vera cruz. Best sourdough rolls and very reasonably priced fresh fish. Sit at ginas table if you're going Sunday through Wednesday and always ask for the fish cooked so it is moist.

P.S. For the first time at Fish House Veracruz, I had this amazing dessert built of a pecan shortbread crust with layers of chocolate pudding and whipped cream and crushed nuts. Apparently it is a vintage recipe from the original restaurant in San Marcos. I usually do not eat restaurant desserts as I am a pastry chef, but Oh YUMMMMMM! As I was leaving, I looked around and saw the place filling up...(6:30 on a Wednesday) and the restaurant was quite filled with the Medicare crowd. Older people have dining as one of the pleasures they can still enjoy and they watch their wallets. When a place is full, despite the economy and it has an older clientele, you can be assured you are getting good food AND value.
