September Median Home Price Up 10.34 Percent from Last Year

September 2012 was the highest monthly median price reported in the last four years.

The median-priced single-family detached (SFD) home in North San Diego County jumped 5.26 percent to $480,000 in September 2012 from $456,000 in August 2012 – September 2012 was the highest monthly median price reported in the last four years. Year-over median SFD price in North San Diego County increased 10.34 percent compared to $435,000 in September 2011, the highest year-over increase since summer 2010.

Encinitas currently has 110 homes active on the market with the low being a 2 bedroom and 1 bath home on Clark with an asking price of $500,000 and the highest home currently on the market is on Neptune coming in at $6.95 million for a 7 bedroom 8 bath 6000 sq ft home on the beach.
