Glenda Hightower teaches this beginning class. Students will learn basic knitting skills -- casting on, knit stitch and purl stitch. General knitting terms and abbreviations, and how to recognize the difference between knit and purl stitches will be discussed. Resource materials for beginning knitters will be suggested.
