 Encinitas  See map

Volunteer for one of San Diego’s largest remaining coastal wetlands: San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve.

Have some free time on your hands? Are the kids off to school? Perhaps the volunteer program at San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy will open new doors of discovery.

For those interested in sharing their passion for nature, this Open House will acquaint participants with Fall 2012 Docent-Naturalist Training, and the joys of volunteering to lead hikes for school children and the general public at San Elijo Lagoon.

Current and prospective docents will hear an overview of the 2012 Docent-Naturalist program, see photos and tools of interpretation, and have an opportunity to meet others. Light refreshments will be served.

The deadline to apply for Docent-Naturalist positions is September 21. Come to the Open House September 8 and learn more. RSVP for Open House on Sep. 8 today: tara@sanelijo.org

Hi Edward, I didn't hear any reports on the scanner or from sources of crashes, rescues or hardRead More landings.
