Reiki is the time honored sacred Japanese art of energy healing. Trisha Kelly, a certified Reiki Master and co-founder of the Soul Center, will lead the training. The First Degree training will familiarize students with the principles of energy healing and first-degree attunements. The Second Degree course held later in the month will delve into the next level of attunements of Reiki energy, absentee healing and stronger forms of mental and emotional healings. No prior experience is needed to take the courses.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It is effective in healing illness and malady and is often used in conjunction with Western medicine therapies and techniques.

“Our spirit-based approach to the ancient art form of energy healing creates a rich and rewarding learning experience for practitioners,” said Kelly.

Based in Encinitas, Calif., the Soul Center Foundation is an independently-owned and operated nonprofit center dedicated to supporting people on the path to spiritual healing and discovery through the practice of yoga, meditation, retreats, counseling and spiritual and mystic studies. The public deserves an objective, unemotional, factual public debate on this proposition. So far IRead More am still leaning toward a yes vote, but I am keeping an open mind at least through this month.

That may very well have been part of it. Grandma had an affinity for liquor as well, but grandpaRead More hated alcohol with a passion and wouldn't allow a single drop of it in the house. Sometimes the man's leadership is essential.

Aunt Judy was probably a very lonely person and turned to comfort in a bottle. What a darn shame.

And you know what ladies, if you don't like Batman's way you don't have to do it Batman's way. ThisRead More is America, not Batmerica, and it's not Flanderstan either. My grandmother's sister decided to become a career woman instead of geting married and having a family. She started and ran a very successful accounting business, back in the 1930s! So who needs Flanders and his women's lib? There's nothing standing in your way, there never has been. Flanders and the rest are lying to you. Aunt Judy did become an alcoholic though and died rather young because of it. Would that have been different if she had been a family woman? Nobody knows.
