Optimist Club of Carlsbad Helps 2 Encinitas Schools
Olivenhain Pioneer and Capri Elementary were given $200 each to support their jog-a-thons.
The Optimist Club of Carlsbad recently made financial contributions to help support upcoming fundraisers at two elementary schools in the Encinitas Unified School District. The Optimists donated $200 to support Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary School’s Jog-a-Thon, which will take place on February 5, 2014. Additionally, the Optimists donated $200 to support Capri Elementary School’s Jog-a-Thon, which will take place on February 7, 2014. The Jog-a-Thons, which are organized by each school’s respective Parent-Teacher Associations, raise money for programs and activities at each school.
