The event's page has some tips for bakers:

Add your personal flair to any tasty dessert with silly, unique, beautiful, zany, plain or fanciful decorations. Organizers are welcoming cakes, cookies, brownies and cupcakes.

To donate the treat, take the cakewalk booth at the school by 9 a.m. Saturday.

The pancake breakfast will start at 8 a.m. at Paul Ecke Central Elementary School, 185 Union St. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.
