Shop at Jimbo’s Saturday, Help Encinitas Kids

A portion of your purchase will help build a mini-farm at Ocean Knoll Elementary.

If you’d like to help some of our Encinitas kids, you can do some grocery shopping at Jimbo’s this Saturday.

A portion of sales proceeds from that day will go toward helping

Ocean Knoll Community Supported Farm, the non-profit that is supporting the effort, aims to bring classroom subjects to life outdoors, and connect learning with the ecological community we all belong to. The farm will also be designed with the intention of benefitting all students in the school district, and the surrounding community.

On Saturday, April 14, OKCSF will get five percent of Jimbo’s sales—plus customers will get five percent off their purchase with the option of donating those savings to the nonprofit. That offer is good all day at any of Jimbo’s store locations.
