Calling Monday's decision a win for the children of the Encinitas Union School District, Superintendent Timothy Baird spoke to reporters following the ruling.
Baird said that throughout the process, the district has tried to work with parents to ease their concerns, and encouraged them to "come see a class and observe what your students are doing. We think you'll agree with us that it's just exercise."
Baird also told reporters of the benefits of the program for the health of his students, calling yoga, "the 21st century PE."
