14th Annual Encinitas Classic Car Nights

The Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA) will be kicking off the start of summer with the 14th Annual Encinitas Classic Car Nights, the first of four in the summer series.

The series will feature car clubs at six dedicated lots. Charlie’s Foreign Car (F St.) and Cardiff Classics (I St.) will be hosting clubs in their lots and the newly-opened Encinitas Pizza Company (formerly Giovanni’s) will be sponsoring clubs at the Sofspra car wash lot (G St). There will also be hosted clubs at The Black Sheep (J St.), the Small Mall (E St.), and the SMOG Test Only lots (F St.).

Are you a classic car owner? Then look for the special “Recommended Parking for Classic Cars” signs along the 101 and park your beauty in one of these prime curbside spots. This all-ages event is open and free to the public and there is no cost to display or view the cars.

What better way to complement these remarkable cars than with classic 50’s and 60’s tunes…at three venues! The Mar Dels will be playing at the SMOG Test Only lot, The Retro Rocketts will be rocking the courtyard in The Lumberyard shopping center (H St.), and DJ Zombeard will be spinning oldies at Cardiff Classics.

At the end of the night there will be an award ceremony at the SMOG Test Only lot and every car in attendance is eligible for an award.
